The Sweetest Day...

On February 16th, 2008, Tricia and Jonas professed their love and faith for one another on the bluffs of Loyola Marymount University. Tricia came to the campus in preparation for a birthday scavenger without the slightest clue of her final station. Staci and I held her up as we walked towards Jonas, eventually letting go so she can take off her blindfold and feel the love of her family and friends. In the background, the song "Meet Me at the Altar" filled the silence and tears came down Tricia's face as she looked at Jonas.

My heart tingled, hand cast over my face as Jonas begins with a smile, "I just want to let you know these last 8 years have been great....and if I had the chance, I would do it all over again."

Down on one knee and with hopeful eyes, he asks Tricia, "Would you do me the honor in marrying me?"

Tricia walks over to Jonas, gives him a hug and responds, "Yes!"

Congratulations TreeJo!!

After eight years, they are officially engaged and no words can express the amount of joy and love I have for them for they are one of the kindest souls I have met this lifetime.

"Tell me who you love and I will tell you who you are," is one of the quotes I hold dearest. If this quote holds true, Tricia and Jonas, I want remind the both of you how blessed you are to find each other. Jonas, knowing Tricia for almost 14 years, I can assure you that she is the same person I have met and nothing has changed about her aside from my relationship with her, which has deepened throughout the years. She is loyal, confident, honest, fun, wise and loving. Knowing you love her shows you are one with a zest for life, impeccable to your words and have a heart of unconditional love.

As the Beatitudes states, "Blessed are those who love freely and deeply."

Thank you so much for allowing us to take part in your special day, we feel honored to have met great friends like the both of you. Friends are the family we choose and for this reason, we feel grateful to have the both of you in our lives.

Here are my wishes for you:

May you both always feel loved by all those around you.

May this engagement deepen your relationship and understanding for one another.

May you always be present in moments of laughter and joy for the rest of your life together.

Always sending you both my best!
