So last night, I attempted to be a domesticated girlfriend by making a meal. I haven't cooked for awhile and I forgot how relaxing and therapeutic it felt. A part of my inspiration was because Tree mentioned how she cooked for Jonas the other day and I was all motivated. I guess when I want something, I really go for it without any hesitation. At work, I went to and found a recipe for Tilapia. My goodness, it was so quick making it. Took me a good 10-15 minutes for to be completed. Then, I sauteed zucchini to add a little flavor. I figure, if you're eating healthy, might as well go all out right? Here is the recipe:

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Ready In: 15 Minutes
Yields: 8 servings

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
2 pounds tilapia fillets

1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.

3. Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the fish.

After dinner, I had the opportunity to absorb myself in 'Project Runway.' I cannot believe yesterday was the season finale. I must say, it is one of my new favorite shows. I love shows like Project Runway, American Idol, Trading Spaces and So You Think You Can Dance. They are inspirational someway or another. After watching the show, I instantly hopped on the laptop and googled how to sew and design. The only show I never really started googling afterwards was, 'American Idol.' I know my abilities and what I can or cannot do. :)

Back to show, Michael throughout the season was my favorite designer. His style is very chic and clean. However, I must admit, I was disappointed in his collection for the finale. It was missing a little ooomph. The safari idea was great, but the clothes and their proportions didn't mesh too well. I think he was just nervous because he's an awesome designer overall. I can't wait for next season!
