Happy 4th, 5th, and 6th!

This weekend marks my one year anniversary with Greggy! I can't ask for a better friend and soulmate. Thanks for being you Greg, life would not have been the same without you in it :)

On Saturday night, we shared some laughs at the "Laugh Factory" with Tricia and Jonas. It was so much fun! The comedians were hilarious. Damon Wayans and Johnny Sanchez performed an outstanding show. Afterwards, we debriefed about the show at Denny's :)

Early Sunday morning, Greg and I met up to celebrate our one year. Instead of gift giving, we decided to start a time capsule with letters. For each year going forward, we would have a letter to one another safely kept in a box for memories.

Our letters...

After exchanging the letters, we went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch and hungout in Marina Del Rey.

For dinner, Greg and I attempted to make sushi for the first time. We bought all of our supplies at Nijiya Market on Sawtelle and Olympic. There, we learned how to make the sauce for spicy tuna roll.

The cooking begins with the making of sushi rice, composed of rice vinegar, rice, sugar, and salt.

Folding in the rice...

Spicy tuna sauce is made out of Japanese Kewpie Mayo, Best Foods Mayo, and Spiracha.
