Worth Internalizing

Over tea last night, my father-in-law shared with me his new iPhone application, Awesome Notes, and he mentioned how it's one of the most productive tools he discovered. One particular tab he set up was labeled as, "Be Inspired." It included the following message:

I promise to be strong - and that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.
To make all people feel that there is something in them.
To look at the bright side of life always - and make my optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as my own.
To forget and learn from past mistakes - and press on for greater achievement in the future.
To be cheerful at all times, and give every person I meet a smile.
To keep on improving myself - and not to criticize others - no matter how much they deserve it.
Not to hate, not to fear, and too grateful and happy to worry.
To know that God's love is always with me and my love ones.
